For the Chemnitz Opera we had the priviledge to work on the chamber opera project "Isolation Club". It deals with the Covid crisis and how two young people deal with the isolation imposed on them. The young singers Marlen Bieber and Felix Rohleder, both members of the newly founded opera studio of the Chemnitz Theatre, embody the roles of Hannah and Paul. Thematically, the techno club is taken up as an emotional refuge and beats also play a role musically. The performances will be streamed.
